that have been handed down through the generations, from father to son.
Scandic log houses and log cabins are built in our indoor workshops in the forests of Estonia. For those that know Estonia and its beautiful capital city of Tallinn, they will understand that Estonia is very close to Finland and is really part of Scandinavia and has an excellent reputation for style, quality and reliability. Also, Estonia is one of the new accession countries to the EU and hence although its economy is booming, still offers excellent value for money.
Once built, your Scandic log house or log cabin is carefully
disassembled piece by piece and the parts individually identified. The whole
log home is then transported together with our expert team of builders and
carpenters to your chosen site, and your log house will be constructed.
We have been building log houses and log cabins for many, many years and have supplied log homes to Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Switzerland and the Baltic countries.
Log homes and log cabins have been built in Scandinavia and in particular Estonia for centuries and the design and build quality has been refined over the years and is such that they will last for many generations.
Scandic Log houses and log cabins are designed and built to withstand the harsh Scandinavian winters where temperatures can be as low as –30deg C, but also where the summer temperatures can be +30deg C for several months of the year.
The art and craft of log home and log cabin building has been built up over the generations, and Scandic Log Buildings is fortunate to have a very highly skilled team of carpenters and their apprentices who will hand craft your log house to the highest standards.
Although we do supply high quality log houses and log cabins that are built from machined round log, our unique skill is in the building of hand made log homes. This is where each log is literally hand carved and fitted perfectly to the next log in order to keep the natural outside shape of the wood. This type of hand made log home is very, very special and there are very few craftsmen capable of building these. Therefore when you purchase a hand made Scandic Log House or Log Cabin, you really are making a very worthwhile investment both in terms of pleasure and increasing rarity value.
